Our Team

Hi! My name is MJ (Mary Jane). I feel very lucky to be a part of the PediPlay family. I appreciate that I am allowed to be creative and think outside the box for therapy. I got to do my fieldwork as an occupational therapy assistant student at PediPlay and was then hired here when I graduated in 2013. I worked at PediPlay until I adopted my first kid and gave birth to my second kid in 2015. I took a break to stay home with my kids and was welcome back in 2018. I come from a family full of neurodiverse people and I am neurodivergent myself. This helps me relate to many of the kids that I work with. I use a child-led play-based approach to therapy. I love finding fun creative ways to use a kid’s interest to work on their goals. I have learned so much from each kid I have worked with. Every kid is so different and learns/works best in different ways.
