Morgan Reynolds
(Outpatient Speech Therapist/ Assistant Clinic Director)
I received my B.A. in communication sciences and disorders from Indiana University and my M.S. in Speech Language Pathology from University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. Over the course of my schooling, I was lucky to work in both a research lab and an augmentative communication lab. These experiences helped me gain an appreciation for using the latest research and technology in my practice. I have worked with both adults and children in my career, and I have been a member of the PediPlay team since 2018. I love working with children with complex communication needs from children with CP, genetic syndromes, or those who are on the autism spectrum. I enjoy helping these children who may benefit from multiple modes of communication find the most effective ways for them to communicate such as using spoken language in conjunction with sign language or Augmentative and Alternative communication (AAC) systems. I have evaluated and worked with many families to complete the funding process to receive personal AAC systems and coaching throughout on how to implement a device into your family’s life. I have also completed many continuing education courses on feeding disorders, another area I feel passionate about treating. I have worked with children of all ages from NICU grads learning how to take a bottle to children with feeding aversions or children who have modifications to their diet all to help them successfully eat. I feel strongly about not just working with your child but the whole family and their care team!
