Shelby Edwards
(Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant)
I am proud to be a part of the PediPlay team, where I have the privilege of combining my passion for pediatric care and health education. I officially joined PediPlay in 2024 following a rewarding clinical rotation here in 2023. I hold an associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting and a bachelor’s degree in Public Health Education and Promotion from the University of Indianapolis. I am also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). My professional experience includes working with children of all ages and developmental stages across a variety of diagnoses, including Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, toe walking, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, clubfoot, spina bifida, scoliosis, orthopedic conditions, developmental delays, and delays related to prematurity. What I find most rewarding is the opportunity to make a tangible difference in my patients’ lives by applying both therapeutic and educational strategies tailored to each child’s unique needs. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time outdoors, working on my family’s farm, and taking on home renovation projects.
