Lynne Hall is a mom to 4 adult children (1 daughter and 3 sons), a GiGi to 1 grandson, and a research associate at the Early Childhood Center within Indiana University’s Institute on Disability and Community. At IU, she conducts research and provides evaluation services, consultation, training and technical assistance to practitioners, administrators, and policymakers in early childhood programs, schools, districts, and state departments of education seeking to improve their early childhood services. She has over 30 years of experience in multiple early childhood roles (home childcare owner/operator, licensed early childhood classroom practitioner serving Title I [Early Childhood Education and Services; Elementary/Primary Generalist; Elementary/Intermediate Generalist], senior early childhood equity specialist, research associate, and developmental therapist). Being a First Steps therapist has provided Lynne the opportunity to reengage with her first love – working with and supporting families and young children. Her passion is to ensure all children achieve high outcomes.
Lynne is originally from Louisville, KY where she earned a B.A from the University of Louisville. She completed her M.S.Ed. at Indiana University. Her expertise includes early childhood development, early literacy, inclusive services, and equitable practices.
