It has been my pleasure to work as a Physical Therapist for the First Steps Program for the past 28 years. I have extensive experience working with children with Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, and multiple genetic disorders. My goal has always been to be part of a team with the families I serve to help their children reach their maximum potential while having fun getting there.
Younger children respond well to working on their range of motion, strength, sensory processing, balance, walking, feeding, and language skills much better in their familiar everyday environment. Parents refer to me as Miss JuJu, and their kiddos quickly engage in our therapeutic sessions with fun sensory activities, song, humor, balls, and movement.
