Our Early Intervention/First Steps Team

I started out with an Elementary Education Teaching License/ Degree, but ended up working in Developmental Preschool as an instructional assistant. I was offered a teaching position if I’d go back for Early childhood Special Education. I accepted and ended up with a Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education. I added on and ended up with a teaching license for Mild/ Moderate Special Education Preschool -12. After serving as a Developmental Preschool Teacher for about 8 years, I started part time First Steps on the side as a Developmental Therapist. I started my own preschool in my home and did this for about seven years and decided to go full time with First Steps. I love how each client is a new challenge.
