Our Early Intervention/First Steps Team

Hi! My name is Amanda Alfery and I am a pediatric OT. I graduated with my Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Xavier University in 2018 and have been working as a pediatric therapist for six years. I am passionate about serving as a First Steps therapist because I believe that family-centered therapy in the natural environment is the most authentic, powerful manner in which to impact a child and family’s life. I believe that involving parents in therapy and empowering them with tools and strategies is the true heart of therapy. I love using play to inspire children to learn and enjoy their world.
