STEPHANY JENKINS

(Physical Therapist)

My name is Stephany. I graduated in May 1990 from the Mayo Clinic School of Health-Related Sciences. My career has taken me many places over the years. I joined the PediPlay team in 2017 as the Clinic Director and Outpatient Pediatric Physical Therapy Specialist. My training includes NDT (Neuro Developmental Treatment) and DMI (Dynamic Movement Intervention) specialization with a heavy focus on handling and tone management. I have experience working with a wide variety of pediatric diagnosis such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, torticollis, rheumatoid arthritis, hypermobility, general developmental delay, Down syndrome, hypotonia, and many more. I work closely with physicians to maximize the benefits of such intervention as Botox, serial casting, orthotics, Phenyl injections, port-surgical rehabilitation, and overall tone management. I have dedicated my career to working with children and families. It is said if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. I truly choose a career that makes me feel that way. I have spent the last 34 years working to help children achieve their goals of maximizing function, achieving mobility, and to truly find joy in movement.
